One of the coolest things that has sprung forth from Google Labs as of late (at least
I just came across this just recently) is Google Trends. What is Google Trends? According to Google, "Google Trends aims to provide insights into broad search patterns." Cool? Yes! But how does this apply to health insurance and health insurance in Tampa specifically again?
Google Trends allows you to not only view the search volume for a given word or phrase but also to view some of the demographics of the people searching for that given word or phrase. For example if you
search for "Health Insurance" then Tampa is the 4th highest ranked city for search volume. Likewise a
search for "Health Insurance Quotes" has Tampa ranked as the 3rd highest city for search volume.
"Individual Health Insurance" again ranks Tampa 3rd and
"Group Health Insurance" has Tampa coming in at 4th.
